UPWARD Basketball and Cheerleading

Upward Basketball and Upward Cheerleading offer a break from the norm. The primary focus of Upward is to develop
the Winner in EVERY child, not just a few. By keeping this goal in mind, we are able to build a league that
promotes salvation, character, and self-esteem in all who participate through:
- Sportsmanship and competitiveness in proper perspective by not maintaining league standings in any division.
- Maximizing the family schedule by having only one hour of practice and one game each week.
- Encouraging each player with a gameday award following every game.
Registration forms are available from Mary Ann Burns or at several locations around the church. Parents may drop
off their registration forms any time from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The registration cost per child for basketball and cheerleading is $65.

11/05/2007...Player evaluation K-2nd graders 6:30-8:00 p.m.
11/07/2007...Player evaluation 3rd-6th graders 6:30-8:00 pm
Week of 12/03/2007...Practices will start
01/05/2008...First Game
03/07/2008...end of the season celebration!!!
