Central United Methodist Church is proud to be a satellite center for the Methodist Counseling and Consultation Services, headquartered in Charlotte. Methodist Counseling and Consultation Services is an accredited service center of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and the Samaritan Institute. The counselor assigned to us is Dr. Todd Matson.

Dr. Matson is a North Carolina Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, a Fellow of the American Association of Pastoral Counselors, and a Clinical Member of the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. He is also an ordained minister with 14 years of experience in parish ministry. Counseling sessions are held in the Church Parlor, Room 117. A waiting area is provided.

Appointments will not be made through the church office. To maintain confidentiality, they will be made through the Methodist Counseling and Consultation Services. Recent studies of the population of Union County have told us that one of its greatest needs was for counseling services. We're very glad that Todd matson is here to help meet those needs!
